SIZE:  Lake: 4 acres.

The Pads Lake is a mature lake on the west side of the main Yateley Complex. It has an extensive gravel bar system and an average depth of 5 feet. The venue’s name comes from the magnificent stands of water lilies that adorn the western side of the water.

There are some 70 - 90 carp present, the majority from a 1998 stocking of Fishers Pond strain fish; these average well over 20lb with roughly 15 to 20 different 30s, to a current top weight of 39lb 12oz. The fish are not too difficult to tempt but they are switched off by lines in the water and constant re-casting.

So keep it quiet and sensible and think carefully about rod numbers, positioning and baiting strategy. Highlights of recent sessions included one angler netting ten 20s and three 30s in a 36-hour session. Top angling!

The fishery has no close season. Tickets are available 365 days per year.

TICKET PRICES

The entire Pads Lake may be booked by up to 10 anglers for a 24-hour period from 10am to 10am the following morning, Please ring the office for an up to date price.

TICKET AVAILABILITY

Fishing on the Pads Lake is on a lake booking basis only. A booking allows from one up to of ten anglers to fish the water. Thus, one angler may have the entire lake to themselves, or they may share the lake - and therefore the cost - with any number of anglers but with a maximum of 10.
