3 of us on yesterday fishing boss, twins, point, for a quick over nighter, very quite, 1 common out at 10lb!! and a lost fish under the willow. not a sniff in twin bars, and a lost fish in boss. Only signs of fish were in the remaining weed to far left of boss and some fish boshing in backbay. Well worth targeting the weed if anyone is heading down there. I knew i should have left the placky corn at home Alby!

fished yesterday,very quiet had the lake to my self. fished the garden gate 16lb common and another about 10lb ish that i didn't weigh.lots of bubbling at first light in the weed. worth getting down early i think.

Since the lake as thawed out fish are being caught,not mega lumps but they are starting to feed.

i have fished south lake twice and both time it has bin very busy. Is the lake always constantly that busy.?

week days is the best time to visit. weekends like most places gets busy.

fishing is slow,but it is good to see anglers slowly venturing back out on to the banks.Pike are getting active,some are spawn bound,the water temp has taken a drop again,it reads 38f....4degrees.

Ive always do well in the channel swims this yime of year.
