Why not get down there, donate a fiver and see if after 5 casts you have broken 5 Fox spods. Sounds like 'put your money where your mouth is'.....

Look forward to seeing you there!!

I will be on the ECHO stand offering information about the organisation and its work and will be more than happy, if not actively looking to discuss any issues surounding ECHO, its aims/objectives and involvements.

ECHO truly values your support.

With thanks to James Harrison of Bailiff Clothing, ECHO will be offering a show exclusive membership package. Every member that joins/renews at the Fox Horseshoe open day will receive a FREE "disease free carper" limited design T Shirt-this offer will be extended to the Carp Society Winter Show at Sandown in December.

YOUR support makes a difference

Fairplay Fox!!

Top venue, a great concept worth building on and an enjoyable day out-shame about the weather.

A few hundred quid for Stoney & friends from the very windy spodding contest(you're a true gent Davy G x) - a bunch of new members for ECHO and a few prospective regional organisers too.

Got caught for speeding on the way home-doh!!

Shame that someone had to have good bash at Fox on a page devoted to a charity they are very kindly supporting....perhaps not the appropriate place?

Personally thought it was a good day, but can be built up a lot more in future...

I hope you've got plenty of spare spods if Fox are supplying them.
Work on the assumption that they should be good for at least one cast!

Personally agree this not the right thread for slating Fox equipment :nono2:, but as a user of the Fox Spods for a while now as prefer it with the insert. Never had a problem myself

A good day was had by all. A bit of money was raised for the cause (boosted by the generosity of Dave Gawthorne - thanks mate) and a few thoughts to make it an even better event next year.

And not one spod, rod or reel broken despite being in use for over 6 hours non-stop.

Thank you Fox.

Any decent fish caught?

Myself (Adam Clewer) and Matt Ridley - Fox Sponsored Anglers, fished summer bay for one fish each. Matt caught a 21lb in the morning before the public arrived and I caught a 16lb pretty scaley fish about lunchtime.

The day was loads of fun with people being really positive even despite the bad weather we had this weekend.

Money was raised for good causes and everyone enjoyed themselves....
