Also stock, originals to stockies anyone know the proper figures? Ratio of commons to mirrors? Come on you lot, dont be shy with your answers!!!

hi ya spence
i think horton is 14 acres . its very decieving because of the position of the 2 bays.
i believe that 52 stockies were put into horton 4 years ago of which around 35 are still swimmin . i estimate that 15 stockies have been landed in 2001 of which 12 were over 20lb.
the 2 biggest stockies have not been out this back end:-
scar and uno last out around 25lb ...
there are more commons in horton than people think , there are a lot around the low 20lb mark but i guess 6 fish over 30lb including the thorpe park common at 39/40lb ( a fish that is on everyones christmas card list ).
i estimate there to be around 20 original mirrors in horton but i stand to be corrected.
most of them you will of heard of . here is a brief list . i may have missed 1 or 2 off so i apoligise now .
parrot 44lb
shoulders 42lb
scaley last out 36lb
peach 39lb
no name 35 1/2 lb
black tail 33lb
the boxer 32lb
the big grey 30lb
dumpy 29/30lb
the woodcarving 28/29lb
starburst + fantail 27/28lb
there are also a few other mid twenty mirrors that don't get caught very often.
hope this satisfies your craving for horton details for the time being.
wait till you arive to fish for the first time. the feeling is unreal.
