Me and two of my mates had a chance to look round Kingsmead island lake today. Thanks alot to tom the baliff who gave us permission to walk round the lake, the information you gave me in the car park was also very helpful and appreciated.
My mate has been going on about the lake for ages so after having a recce rounds wraysbury 1 we set off to kingsmead. The island lake is mind blowing and its just the sort of water i like. Luckily i have finished college and hav alot of time available next year and would be able to give the lake a good go. Ive heard that its relatively untapped and there hav been rumours and sightings of big fish. I was lucky enough to see a mirror which was a definate thirty near the bridge that divides the two lakes. Any further information about the lake and on ticket prices would be appreciated. Ive heard wraysbury has the odd gypo's walkin round causing trouble, is it the same at kingsmead or is it relatively quiet?I'd like to take everything into account before buying a ticket so any information would be a great help!
Cheers
