Alright lads,
much happening ???
i fished a week or so back, just a single nighter and got nailed all nigth with small pike, must be the weather getting colder thats making them feed or something.
any cats out,

No worries John, will get the negs and drop them off when i am up next, maybe sunday or latest week tomorrow.
The chap you are talking about is Tony M, thats his first cat/cats this year, Like everyone else he has been netting fish all year for Bob without even a run himself and then gets himself 76lb of fish in 1 night,

Normally a few small carp, low doubles in the dead tree in that corner, better fish tend to be down the reed section by the overflow or right next to the gate, but the swim is pretty small and would have to bivvy up at top of bank, close in the fish have been seen, a few 20+ commons me and sam see a while ago, Jimmy had pennys from that side as well, infact he had a few fish that weekend and lost a few, fishing off the right hand side of the point.
Don't think it was him ,the guy who was hauling had 'devil may care' good looks!

Well.......I've only got to suffer the abuse in relation to me & Mike....Doris & Daisy. I mean, we don't even like each other!!.../forum/images/icons/laugh.gif.
I rue the day we chose to bivvy up a bit close rather than suffer 10ft of steps between us and the rods.......lol!!
DOC's been singing your praises, John.....some top angling there. I've been living up to my pest control image. In the same amount of nights, I've managed only one cat, (by accident), one carp over 20lb and the grey one.......all the other carp have been doubles & even a single. All my bream have been the smallest in the lake...not even a double, and the tench had just hatched..........
