Flashing

I have had a thought, is there any way that you can get the links to the other parts of the site flash or change colour when they are updated? For example, new additions or editing of the diary, news reports, carp world, masterclass etc? I think if this could be done more people would read the updtaed items available to them.

I wasn't referring to the forum sim0n only the other parts of the site, and if Billy is really clever he can make so once it is clicked on it stops flashing or returns to it's original colour... come on bill get that code of yours working dude /images/forum/icons/smile.gif

Yes, I'm going to get this done when I next upgrade WebPublisher... I'm just going to create a couple of small icons for Ian to use as he wants.

Any suggestions for icons ? So far I have:

Updated
Just In
Hot News
Rave Review (or something like that to go with Tried and Tested).

Any more ?

To be honest Bill I think the smaller the gif the better.... maybe just a NEW would suffice for the purpose. Yellow background and black text... boring maybe but effective

There not going to be big Tony... well not much bigger than you mate /images/forum/icons/smile.gif About the same size as the icon for when you have new mail (maybe a little smaller).
