I'm totally against them i'm affraid because they take the skill out of angling.Lond distance casting is a skill which takes years to learn. Some one with the money buys a boat and your hard earned edge is gone.Casting tight to snags is a skill but in comes the bait boat and puts his baits in the snag.
I also think that the fish should have a safe area on any lake where we can not fish for them ie out of range or in some snags but the bait boat negates that.

to cast 130+ yards takes skill, to cast under a over hanging tree takes skill, to uses a bait boats to do either of the top 2 takes no skill just a sum of money ,the best thing for a bait boat is a shot gun

dont get me wrong i dont agree in bait boats, but what if the carps safe haven consists of over 7 acres of water,we occasionally pull a swervy one by getting the dingy out in the small hours of the morning, bloody knackering towing 4 lines out about 160 yards especially when you have 9 swans hunting you down.

Don't moan if you get caught and lose your ticket.
