Hi Guys

I have a mate who is new to carping who wants to go on a 3 or 4 day session with us. He came with us last week for three days and blanked, as its not easy on this water at the moment. We have another session coming up next week, and I would like him to get a bend in the rod this time, or i reckon it might break him! Ive had a look through the venues on this site and South Lake looks like a good bet. To be honest I wouldnt mind a bit of easy action myself. What do people reckon on south lake for this purpose? Cheers.

It's not too difficult providing you get in the right swim. From my experience the best places are the car park, the Boss and Matts Corner. Lots of fish in the low doubles bracket at the moment (like peas in a pod 10 - 13lb commons)

Have a look on the day ticket section for loads of info.

How about Sandhurst......?
Just down the road and the possibility of better average sizes??.....Not too tricky either...although weed was bad last time I was there......
