Holidays..

Summer Holidays nearly over and we have Autumn to look foward to...I know most of you like to take whatever leave you get to go fishing but I was just wondering which has been your fav. non-fishing holiday??
I have nice holidays with the enemy but for me it has to be the ones with the boyz @ ibiza, mallorca etc...(even I could pull on those!!!/forum/images/icons/wink.gif pre the girlfriend obviously)

9 months backpacking round Thailand and Malaysia. 10 years ago now, but still a very happy memory.

I'm a family man now and sad as it may sound, i get pleasure seeing the kids having a great holiday.

Last year I took the family to Mallorca and we all had a great time. Callas De Mallorca (North East). Canarios Park hotel. Great food and ok beer. Horrible plastic containers though. All in deal, good time had by all and no silly building projects or yobs. We went for 2 weeks and hired a car for the second week (good move).

I'm off to Oz in November for three weeks and fully intend to wet a line whilst there, though it's not a fishing holiday as such, more sightseeing, boozing, loafing etc.

Knackered after a hard years graft, but it's quite nice knowing everyone is on the downward spiral into winter but I still have my break to look forward to! lol lol!

Oh, had 3 months in the US 5 years ago which was great, done the whole Florida thing, New York, the Keys, Miami etc. Great time, hoping Oz is just as good if not better.

My nipper is out in OZ at the moment working on a crabbing boat off the Barrier Reef. He keeps E-mailing me about feeding the sharks of the back of the boat. Not a bit <font color=green>jealous!!</font color=green>/forum/images/icons/crazy.gif

scuba diving off filitheyo in the maldives - absolutely amazing.....manta rays, sharks, turtles, tuna, dolphins, lionfish and a million other species.....two weeks in heaven.....

Two weeks on Anna Marie Island, Tampa, Florida last August. Three apartments on the beach, 20 friends and family around me and married on the beach with a barbecue and a boogie... couldn't have been any better !!
