Rivers Wanted!

Ive just spent £600 on a centerpin, rod, and also a baitcasting set up, now i need a river to use them on, i dont mind travelling for a days fishing but am lost with the choices, the obvious fish are chub, grayling and perch, where would you guys recommend and what ticket do i need to fish it?
