The trouble is i'm now sitting at work looking at these Beauties (rods../forum/images/icons/wink.gif)and thinking to myself "What have i done !!!"
wrong place to look at'um scaley best place is on a 3 rod set up looking across a nice lake with a beer in your hand, a wet weighing sling up a tree and a camera with good pics of a lovely carp that you have just christed the rods with
see they look good now don't they
also will make you feel better as well! /forum/images/icons/smile.gif
I think we've all done that in the past.
I did it recently with a Microcat and Echo sounder, still regret the £1200 spent.

I think you are totally justified in buying those rods. Someone made them to be bought. They would get lonely on the shelves if you hadn't. The carp you're going to catch need to be educated. Your reels need to go somewhere. You'd look pretty stupid fishing without rods. You wouldn't catch much without them. What's wrong with an early christmas present. You deserve them. You only live once. It's not like you've bought a Maserati (or Bait Boat). That rod pod you've got is now very handy. Because they're the best you'll never have to waste you're money on others. They'll last you forever and will become more valuable as collectors items in years to come.Justifed.Totally. Justified...Don't even think about it.Extension of your arm .Part of you....Totally....LOL

Too right.Worth every penny.Family heirlooms. The children can learn on them(not). A sound investment. Cork, the prorper thing you know. Not just any rubbish. Prince Charles uses them don't you know. I wish I could have got another six. They're a one off. He let me have them cheap. Of course you know Jill has just bought Jack a set.I plumbed for these because they were half the price of the other ones.Wish I could have afforded those others. Guess I'll just have to make do then. Maybe next year, eh. What's the time?
I could go on... that's married life for you.You didn't read that did you Ladies?
