We did this one b4, but for the record:
Sadly sensible Vauxhall Zafira 1.8i....doubles as a bankside hotel /forum/images/icons/smile.gif

Company car is. Alfa 156 T-Spark 2.8 V6 (all singing all dancing).
Absolutely useless for fishing so I got a Ford Maverick 4X4 2.8 diesel. Cheap and reliable and stacks of room for all your tackle. Even sleapt in it in France last year.

clio - ok for one person's gear - struggle with two....

and on the subject of cars and fishing - my girlfriend really hasn't got it yet (first season back fishing since i've started seeing her 3 years go)....i was saying the other night that we should get a slightly bigger car for exactly the reason of getting more fishing gear in it and her reply was we're not buying something bigger just for fishing - this is despite the fact that apart from a weekly sainsburys trip (2 miles to clapham) the only f'ing thing we use the car for is to go fishing apart from the trip up north to see her folks once every 3 or 4 months or so...(just about every week this summer i've done 100 - 150 mile round trip to go to various lakes)....she'll learn....

Audi S3, handy for when you eke out that session till the last possible second then have to drive like the wind to get home!
