Has anybody got any ideas how you can lift/take out lily pads which are spreading like wild fire.

Myself and gary have been in the lake trying to pull them out by hand but they are well rooted.

Somebody told me about a tool they use which basically digs them out, Its like a two pronged fork.

Unfortunately whilst lillypads look pretty they do spread and need controlling as they close swims.

Ian will spraying them with glyphosate kill all of them or just the ones that you spray?As we don't want to get rid of all of them

So the best time to do this is when the lilly's are in full flourish?

How do we get some of this treatment and is it something we can do or would you prefer somebody from your end who has more experience?

Is this something that could be arranged as the little lake is under threat of being overun by them.

Each year we have lost a couple of swims , so this year is going to be no different.
