I'll probably be working on Saturday, but will hopefully pop down to say hello to all on Sunday (estate agent and solicitors allowing) :)
Just to show how keen anglers are to take part in this event, Eugene arrived today, a week early, But please keep this to yourselves, don't say a word next week please, !!!!!
PS: But he did go to Fox Pool after and had a mid-double Pike......................then fell in after it, quite an eventful day for him.

PMSL..Surley that should be reported o the Angling rags, that's a right corker and will give many anglers a good laugh reading that.
I can imagine him just saying, "Oh dear, that's a shame"... NOT
mmmmmmmmmmm and he forgot to mention it, when he spoke to Keith Arthur on Fishermans Blues, the next morming.
Spoke to him yesterday, and is still coming this weekend, and maybe a tad earlier, now he knows the route ....

right, is it possible to catch live baits at horton this time of year.
need a quick reply so i can pack the gear
Hope the weekend was enjoyable guys, sorry I didnt get down, had a few pressing work issues that neened to be sorted. Think the weather was at least better then forcast.
Weather was good. Plenty fish caught on Saturday with a couple of 20s 24 & 29lb coming out :) Sunday was much harder. Water felt colder and the fish were there, but wouldn't touch the baits. Only a few baing landed.
More importantly I had a bit of Singy loving!
Well done Alan and Tug, great event again!

another shot of the 24 showing it could hold a lot more weight.
Nice one mate
That fish looks empty!
Well in Singy .......... a decent weekends fishing !
They all look lean fish.
They were all empty. Yet to fill with spawn and the cormorants have been working the pit hard :(
The 29 that was caught had a jack about 3lb down it's throat, just it's tail sticking out.
I left them about 2 kilo of mixed deadbaits as a thankyou :)

Can I just add my thanks to Alan and Tug and all the lads that fished there for a really enjoyable weekend and for the invitation to come down.
Its events like this that really show what fishing is all about and i hope that everyone enjoyed the weekend as much as i did.
The thanks are all down to all you guys that took part in this event.
We are proud to announce that YOU raised £2080 for people living with Cancer.
Thanks Mark. Just like to concur with Allan, the success is down to the guys who attended. In particular, I enjoyed the discussion session with you and Nev Fickling on Saturday evening and I know many of the attendees did too. Mark just needs to sort those rubber hooks out and he'd have had an even more enjoyable weekend... Oh and sort out that snoring
