Ugly People

I made a change to my display preferences and I have encontered a problem - I seem to have permanently activated the 'show users pictures with post' option. Pretty as most of the users are I don't want to see them all the time!
I have checked and double checked that the 'View user's pictures with their posts?' option is switched off and I have reset my browser, computer and even left it for a few hours to let the server update but they are still there.
Please remove these offensive images from my display as they are starting to cause me some distress./images/forum/icons/smile.gif

Anyway back to the point - how can I get read of the 'Show users picture in post' option?

Tom,

You need to click the 'Edit Profile' link at the top of the page. From there, select Display Preferences. At the bottom of the page you have the option to view users photos in the posts (Yes or No). Select No.

This should do it.

Any problems, let me know.

Tom's right mate - have just tried to turn the viewing off of post pics and gues what they are still there.!!!!!!!

Also in trying this my display prefs have changed normally i view my screen in 'black + blue' but this has know disappered im just left with 3 choices - desert, desert large and blue.

Hi Paul,

I'll be upgrading the software this weekend, so let's see if that fixes the pictures problem.

I switched off the 'black+blue' styelsheet, and a couple of others but if you guys really want them back let me know.
