River Severn

Has anyone been fishing the middle of the Severn lately? as I walked down the other day and noticed that there's extra water ripping through at a good old pace.

When the water is well up the Kinver freeliners stretch at Hampton Loade can often produce some good fish. the last swim of field one gets a big slack area on the near bank, a big lump of meat onto the edge of this can often tempt the odd barbel up to doubles.
