Hello All

Wondering if anyone can help.

I've deceided to quit 'the smoke' for the delights of the Sussex Coast. Worst thing (except the amount of pensioners there) is the distances required to travel to Fishers Green for my Barbel/Chub sessions. I've been recommended the Bromley and District AS as they have some nice stretches of the upper Medway and the Tiese along with some lakes.

Any other suggestions for small river fishing in the Eastbourne area? I'm particularly interested in the upper Rother around Robertsbridge and Udiam. I fished there as a kid and seem to remember that it may fit the small river ideal. Anyone know how the Rother fishes these days?

Thanks to the powers that be for this top site, I don't write too much but I enjoy reading the discussions greatly. And there's no fear of packing in trips to 'The Green'. An equally enjoyable and frustrating season, but always a pleasure to fish.

Cheers,

PaulP

Hmmm a question for Neil here methinks. Quite a coincidence though as I am moving down near there in August and I may be looking at the Rother too but not for the barbel though. Well not specifically anyway.
