Split lake

Just wondering what the carp stock is like.
Roughly how many 20s are in there and how many 30s? Isn't there 1 30 in there, the Orange?
Thinking of fishing it in the warmer months, how does it fish?
Is it worth pre baiting or will the cats have all my bait? (its protovite liver so they'll probably go for it!)
Ian, didn't you say you were going to do something with the split and make it a bit like the match?

How's he going to do that then Richard? Surely he has to go in order to bait up? Or do you mean something different to what you have actually said? (Just my little joke - can't help myself sometimes. Too much wine with dinner, or possibly not enough!)

hi,

also the stocks:

one 30's
ten 20's with names
lots of twenties without names
lots of doubles
40/50 fish in a 7 acre lake.

Ian is planning to put more large carp in there but because of the foot and mouth he can't move them.
