Hi,

as it has been not caught for a long time.
i am wondering what size it is and what size you think it is?
i think it is about 42lb.

Who knows geeza? But the few who have seen it reckon bigger than that, and you might be looking at high forty (47+??).

didn't arfur do that? - not come out for a couple of years and then when at last she came out she was 10lb up.

I think the spring would be a good bet as they all 'wake up' for a pre-spawning munch.

Pity the Car Parks closed during the spring!!!!! So that's a time when you can gaurentee it won't be coming out!!
That fish will come out when it makes a mistake, simple as that, and who knows when that will be, first day of the season, or not for another season, who knows?!

Shes not coming out until I join in about 3 or 4 years time!
I reckon she may even do 50 one day, because around the time Terry hearn was fishing for Arfur, it rarely came out and was last out at 30 something ( I think it was low 30s) then Arfur never got caught for quite a while and when it did it was 42 (I think).
If she does come out this year, my guess is she will come out on the first day of the season or around that time and she'll be big! Good luck to all you boys on the car park! you'll have her soon!
