Bazil!!

Ian,
I've been getting into an argument like Yappi, on the Carp-talk website, with Paddy Webb about where he gets the "Bazil is an import" thing from. I know you said in a previous post that you weren't gonna justify this with an answer, but could you just tell me whether Baz originated as a fingerling in this country just so I can shut that Tw*t up?
He seems to think that it was stocked into Sutton by the Kent water board in the 60s and therefore originated in Holland or something????!!!!!

Does Paddy Webb qualify as an import because he comes from north of the Thames.
Probably should not have said that,perhaps I had better moderate myself.
Most of us were probably imported from Italy,France or Scandinavia many many years ago also as something smaller than a fingerling.
Just a thought.
