I noticed a few other Pompey fans on the site, just wondered what they thought about the possible signing of Ginola?

Granted he may be past his prime, but so was Prosinecki and he tore the Division 1 defences apart last season!

I hate to say this yet again, after being disapointed so many times, but I have a good feeling about this coming season!!

indeed.. never met a sailor in my life though.. think they tend to dock in portsmouth then head for southampton... what with the majority of scummers being fags they got more of a chance up there!! ;-)

Ps. For a side who have achieved nothing in the premiership, scummers have such an ego!! I think they'll need to do a bit more than sign some Swedish bloke no one's heard of if they wanna stay there.

I'm not too sure about Ginola, he will want a few bob aweek, he's getting on abit and he has a pass history of falling out with the management.
But he was player of the year in 1998.
I've a good feeling that we are on the up.
As for the scummer calling us scummers, does he know why he's called a scummer?
It all started when the dockers went on national strike back in the 1920's and guess who bottled out? yes that's right southampton, let the dockers down bad. So that is where the term scummer comes from. It's about time they tried and thought of something orignal if that is possible?
