dunno how you would target them mate, have caught one already this year but only on standard carp gear.
best person to speak to is Del when your down there next as he specifically targets them on the church lake, so if you tone things down i am sure you can have a few.

The best way to target them is floaters. They do get caught on the bottom, and they do seem to like a hemp/corn combo, so that may be wirth a try. The best way though would be to wait for the right conditions and get the floaters out!

Done a couple of nights resulting in a few tench to 8 3/4lb and a dustbin lid bream at 12 1/2lb, so not too bad, i'll look out for you on Fri

JamesL,
I have watch them take floaters of the surface, that maybe a starting point.

I had them taking floaters a few times, but only ever managed to nick one of 10lbs, mind you I am not the calmest of floater fisherman - LOL

but have seen them on the top towards the lodge.

I nearly caught one from the CHurch lake once too (record?), but without going into too much detail, someone messed it up for me.

Does anyone know how big the grassies go in the boat pool?

i would agree, mine was 13 ish and have seen lot bigger ones, barring in mind the ammount of food going in maybe next year or year after could do a 30 but would say about 25 ish as garth said.
