although i've never met him, the old piking pirate looks a bit of a headcase
Jamie Smith - total headcase - can be heard for miles around - wicked humour - will take the [censored] till your cursing and then some more.......
Nick 'the Stick' Jones - cant fish Yateley and escape his manic crack fuelled (kidding) hysterical laugh echoeing around the CP......
Mad Martin - quite simply - his nickname is correct......funny fella indeed....
magic!!!!

Yep, second that one. Top bloke too!
ray mumford, stripped down to his undies and went for a 10min jog while in a que to draw for a match it was at the time about -6c
nice bloke though
also in this match we were near the assie part of london where they had this warehouse that they lock themselves into on friday and come out again after a weekend drinking, anyway the canal was frozen 4in thick and there had been a boat just gone though and these mad gits decided to walk over to the other side in jeans and teeshirts they didnt make it and ended up in the ice cold water of the grand union canal
totaly mad
Lewis - it must be the way the Cp makes 'em - you're not exactly what I'd describe as normal yourself /forum/images/icons/laugh.gif

i have not got a single funniest or madest person, i know quite a few !! (comes with the territory), just a random story for u about someone i know exceptionaly well (if u all did this story would be sooo funny) 1 opening nite about 2 years ago this old boy comes down the lake not in the best of health (roasted) fully armed with light test curve rod, a trout reel and a 3oz led, on the stroke of midnite, eching across the lake is this grating, cranking , whizzing type sound, totaly lost as to what this noise could be i go to investigate, there before me was this bloke thrashing this rod and trout reel trying to cast it as if it were a normal reel, the led would leave the rod at such force but due to multi birdies, and that stupid trout reel it would rocket into the water at about 3 yards range like a megabomb, i cant explain how much i laughed that night, the mixture of this bloke stumbling around buckled and eratic casting was too much for me...brilliant, he's now my best mate

ha ha ha whilst i remember, theres a couple of others, a bloke known only as "the nug" and another chap "ted" (wink)
those who have fished hardwick at linear will understand this,4 of us were set up, 2 either side of the joining channel to smiths pool, whilst "TED" sat in his chair for the whole evening/night without removing a pipe from his mouth (a constant trail of shmoooke wafting into the air) the nug proceeded to nail some haribo, this looked a bit tasty to me, so the next hour was spent with him attaching sweets to leds, rigs, markers etc e and casting them across the gap to me, oh how i laughed as haribo star mix peppered the lake.
got to be bazza. anyone who knows that much about mr benn [cartoon thread] has got to be totally crazy.....lol....
