I have 2x 12ft 2.1/4lb Normark Cyprio Specimen Carp rods for sale. Good cond. well used. Butt ring on one professionally re-whipped. Cost £110 each, new (2yrs old). Nice velvet rod bags.

Will accept £75.00 for the pair. Anyone interested ?

I don't know the type of rods, I am a bit green when it comes to carp rods... what is the action like and are the good for light close in fishing with an all through action?

They are a real nice slim rod, with what I would call a progressive action - some strength in the butt section. Most of my fishing is close/medium range and they've done a sterling job really. They do appear a bit stiffer than the 2.1/4LB TC initially dictates but again, in the margins great so long as you dont pile it on, but then same as most rods really.
Reason for sale is I expect most of my fishing this year to be at a lot longer range - gone are the 4-7 acres pools up north !

Every Normark rod I've come across is a peach......quality matches the price of course, but they are what I call an 'honest' manufacturer....i.e...don't market overpriced rubbish to the masses!
£75 seems a right bargain!

yer i used to have the normark nova mk2 2/12 test curve brilliant rods the only reason that i got rid was because i was moving on to a new water that need distance.

Apologies for the length of time in responding to some of your queries (Scorpie esp.). Unfortunately I am unable to sell the rods at the moment. The reason being that they were intially offered for the sale on the back of me acquiring a new set of rods through an aquaintence which has subsequently fallen through. I will however give you all first refusal when I have found some replacements.
