What does everyone think of their teams early games next season??

As a Pompey fan the thing I'm most chuffed about is having Celtic as a pre-season friendly!!

Arsenal have got birmingham, not a bad start i suppose but a potential banana skin, you can imagine that the players will be up for beating last years champions and cup winners on the opening day to get they're premiership season off to a flying start!
The local team Norwich have got grimsby....says it all really...a couple of [censored] penalties and look at the difference! Fair play to birmingham, both teams agreed before kick off that the losers of the cardiff playoff final got to keep all the gate receipts!

LOL! I'm actually quite optimistic this season - we got a decent manager now and all the other clubs in the Nationwide are poor so you never know!!
Enough to make me fork out for another season ticket!!

Not just celtic, but Alaves and maratimo as well, hope this season will be the one! cant take another season like the last blitz.

Looking forward to Brighton v Pompey. Fishing mate is a season ticket Pompey and I'm Albion season ticket. The lake that saturday night could be fun!

Yeah I'll be at all 3 friendlies. Does Cruyff still play for Alaves?? I know he did when Liverpool played em in UEFA final.
I honestly think we've got a chance this year mate. Harry is quality - look what he did at Bournemouth.
I reckon this Vincent Pericard from Juve might score a few for us!

But Gro is it just me or has Harry signed about quite a few centre backs so far??

Howe, De Zeeuw, Foxe, I don't think Wilson is staying.
There's talk of Ronnie Walwork from United. Plus we've still got Primus, Buxton and dare i say it, Carl "The Donkey" Tiler!!!

oh god not Tiler! wish wilson was staying, he looked quality.
Hopefully Todorov, Burchill (please be fit, please be fit!), and Pericard should do the business up front.
Seems to me that we lack a bit in midfield, courtney's fine on the wing, but without Prosser I think Harry needs to get us a good central midfielder- much as I like Quasie and Derry, not too sure theyre the ones to take us up, and Summerbell still hasnt proved himself (he looked ok but nothing special).

Not sure about the Walwork rumours but I think that Cruyff does still play for Alaves. Hope I can make the friendlies, I wanna see what lewis does to Larsson!

Yeah totally agree about the centre of midfield. To be honest I can't see Derry staying for much longer. He's been sulking ever since Rix got sacked and there's been talk of a 1 million bid from Milwall. I think he'd be better suited to the crowd at Milwall than the team! Burchill will be fit, Bradders by Xmas. Harry rates Quashie and then there's this new youngster we've just signed from Birmingham. Much as I love Prosinecki you need workers to get out of Division 1. Hope Summerbell stays - he looked okay. Hmmmmmm.......what else?

There's also talk of signing Shaka from West Ham. Big Dave can't have much longer left and well I don't need to tell you about Yoshi!! I reckon Harry'll give him another go next year!

A name to look out for - in a couple of years Rowan Vine will be a top player. His sister's a mate of mine and he got my shirt signed my Prosi!! Oh Yes!!

my dad met him and didnt ask for his autograph, I didnt speak to him for weeks !!
Oh yeah, forgot about that lad from birmingham, Taylor wasnt it ? and I forgot about Hughes, that Bournmouth youngster, hes a midfielder inne ? bit of an injury case though, with Pompeys record I hope he stays fit!
Heard about Shaka, hes gotta be getting on a bit too ! would be nice if we could have held onto Hoult (or got Illic on a permanent basis), oh well, cant have everything!
