Having just spent a couple of days fishing with BOSS on the Avon and having him drink me out of coffee in two days it reminded me of a week I spent in France with BIG Ron Buss.Rons kettle never came out once durring the whole week and when he wanted a drink he just threw his cup at the bivvi next door which belong to John from Essex who made the great man tea all week.I've known the big fella for over twenty years and I can count the cups of tea he has made me on one hand.Despite this obvious failing he's a lovely man and too big to say otherways.Lets shame the rest of our tea making shy mates. But only in good fun.

Blimey, I went to Cobbets a few years ago and Ron was fishing with Pete Springate and Dave Gawthorn was there doing the piccies. He made a cuppa that day. He didnt catch any though lol. I seem to remember Pete caught a tench and they didnt make a cuppa when i went past to go home as Id had five doubles in the afternoon.

northern eric ian, he brings his own water all the way from his home because he won't have thames water. good old eric
not so much a tea ponce but more of an omlette tart, this old boy we know will quite happily cook one up at 2 or 3 in the morning, brings down a 2 lb block of cheese with him and a gratter.he is famous around these parts, often go down to visit him if your a bit hungry after a social, cant make a brew for s**t though.
