Hi if you have a look at the catch reports it gives you a list of waters that are closed

Steve, have a look under "catch reports" where the full RMC position is set out in a separate named section.

Thanks guys, will go and check it all out
Ian, with this crisis seemingly growing day by day, would it be possible to extend the list in the NEWS AND CATCH REPORT SECTION to include all venues so that they could all be given a status eg: Closed, under review, open, etc? I think it might stop a lot of us chasing you up on seperate venues.
Also how quick do the venues get closed? I mean if I check one night that somewheres open, is it possible that I get there the next morning and its been closed?
Clive
Hi Clive,
I think Ian has said that venues are monitored by the hour and any new venue arising will be added to the list...
If a venue closes, I'd have thought it would be closed for more than a day or weekend mate.
As for how quickly a venue will be closed - how quickly can this virus spread ?
Bill.

That may be true Ian but we must be seen to be acting responsibly.I could not believe a report on the news tonight which reported people were tearing down the Foot path closed signs so they could walk the paths.
Yeahhh... but there aint many birds that go fishing are there /images/forum/icons/smile.gif (sorry Girls)

Not that will fancy you apart from as a snack.
Bill, I think you misunderstood my post, obviously if a venue has to close I understand there would be a statutory closure period or a certain amount of time before a review was taken.
Also, my thoughts about adding all venues to the list with an up to the minute status perhaps stopped any misunderstanding that could happen now with venues not on the list being about to close.
Anyway things don't seem to be getting any better, so perhaps safe than sorry is the line to follow.
I hope this and a couple of other posts I've made have not been taken the wrong way, I'm not a bolshy pig-headed guy who thinks fish and be damned, I'm just enthusiastic about my hobby! (like most of you guys) and I wouldn't want to get any of us a bad name by diving in where I shouldn't.
Sorry to ramble on...
Clive
