i was hoping to do a bit today but as it was so bloody
cold i chose not to,
what conditions put you off fishing?
i just hate it when its cold wet and windy, like today
dont get me wrong im not a fine weather fisherman
just think that the odds are against me in these conditions
bbbbbrrrrrrrrrr
mild weather is promised for next week!
cheers

Don't let 'any' weather conditions put you off Dave, i don't - went out today and caught a chub, Not a massive fish, but still a fish.
Also lost four, win some loose some.

The only thing that would put me of is the thick ice. I ahve done many a night where i have woken up to only find that i am frozen in. Have any of you had any fish in these conditions (a take from under the ice).

Not had fish from under the ice but had 6 in a day from willow park as the ice melted. It was still 2/3rds frozen and I had fish to 21lb.Great days sport.

...closest I have come was on quite a tricky lake in Woking...v cold night was spent in the bag, until first light I was woken by a screamer...picked up the rod & started playing the fish...when the sleep had cleared from my eyes I noticed that the whole lake was frozen, apart from about 20yds square in front of me.....quite lucky really....twas the first fish out for two months....
