I cant say about the hotfoot ones but the skeetex ones are brilliant. I have had a pair for years and they have kept my feet warm in all the coldest conditions. I have tried boom 80's and some others and none compare to the Skeetex ones. Totally worth the money.

Ive recently invested in the new deri boots and they are the dogs nutts. Very warm and water resistant. I cant imagine using another boot apart from these deri boots

Cant comment on the Skeetexs but the hot boots keep my feet warm even in the coldest of coldest, sometimes too warm, which makes my feet sweatPHEW!
It pays to wear cotton socks not man made fibre socks.
Also they split once and sundridge replaced them free of charge, didnt even have to pay p&p.thats what I call service.

I have had my skeeteks for 5 years and they are still as good as new, the linings are getting a bit tatty now but I paid £30, the warmest £30 I ever spent.

Hi all, I've been using Skeeteks for about 5yrs now and think they're great, but don't try to drive in them!
I attempted to move my car once whilst wearing my Skeeteks.
Because of their size I managed to press down more than one pedal at once and let's just say it ended in tears! /images/forum/icons/blush.gif

All the best,

Skeetex field boots are superb. Very warm, very comfortable, good to walk in. Hotfoots are lovely and warm but not having a left or right foot they are not so good for walking any distance. The field boots are not good for standing in water for any lengthy period while the hotfoots are fine. It really does depend how you expect to use them as to the final choice, but for normal wear I would choose the skeetex every time.

I hae a pair of the skeetex boot it took me ages to save for them but it was worth it, they are so warm a bit to warm when i walk to a swim with me tackle i have to often take them off to let me feet cool down!
Has anyone found they feel weird when you first wear them as there is no left or right foot for them?

The derri boats are tailor made for the left and right foot, i don`t have a pair but i`ve heard there a pukka bit of kit. and alot more comftable when walking distances in them.

I've got the skeetex boots, personally spot on for me.

A couple of mates of mine have the field boot which seem to have their limitations, I think they're fine if you are walking along rivers but for the static carp angler...... I don't know, you can't get very deep in the water in them.

For stalking in the summer I wear a pair of good old walking boots.
