Guys,

sorry to go back to the sleeping bag debate!
Rather than trawl through the other thread, I thought I'd create another.
It looks like Tails-up's Goliath is the best bag.....but I can't afford it!
I have a sleeping bag or can get hold of a JRC carp duvet cheap......so the question is........
Is it worth me buying the new JRC bedchair cover to 'upgrade' a current bag instead of buying a new one?
Would this have the same effect as the 3 layer Sundridge heat control one?

Waiting for advice.......or a lottery win.

Cash,

I'm with you on the 'not spending a lot front'!!
I was wondering if a cover soups up the bag...or is a waste of money?
Are the army bags easy to get out of...as this is my concern when looking at them.I know that the soldier should be able to leap out quickly(?),but they don't appear to have as good an exit as the duvet type bags.My current bag is the shape of the army bags and is cumbersome to leave quick as it tapers at the bottom...is your bag like this?

Cheers Cash,
I think that's the way forward!...I'll have a look at the Transworld Surplus store website.
