I put an add in a few weeks ago for 3 SN`s & sounder box for sale and thought they would be snapped up. I added that they were in Dublin, Ireland and I would post etc.
It seems that people are wary of how to carry out a transaction across the water. So am I. Can any one suggest to me how to fix up a secure method, financially, of carrying this out. I`m new to the site and don`t have experience with the buy/sell section obviously.
Likewise, I would love to buy some kit off the site. I buy alot from Angling Lines, second hand.
Any ideas anyone please?

A cheque sent by Registered post should be OK (once cleared) as long as you were legit (as I assume that you are, no offence meant) or a PayPal account even would allow funds to be sent electronically.

Some couriers do do a 'pickup cheque upon delivery' system, which does cost a little more but the only drawback then is if teh collected Cheque is stopped or bounces.

May I assume then that people with tackle to trade physically meet up to exchange / hand over stuff. Looks like I`ll have trouble shifting them then. Not a big secondhand market over here unfortunately.
