Billy,
Normally when veiwing new msg's it used to take me to the next new msg. This however has stopped happening now and i have to scroll trough all replies to get to the new ones!! - why?

Is this happening to anyone else

I am still trying to work out what is happening Paul..... I know that the new posts automatically go to the viewing pane now and didn't used to???? try to explain what you mean mate.....

I think billy set it up recently that when you click to view a thread with 'new' msg's you automatically got the 'new' msg's appear in your viewing pane, this is not happening for me anymore.
When i click to view a thread i get the first post not the 'new' msg's in my viewing pane and have to scroll through them all to find the new ones, these are also coloured yellow now not orange!

Mine is working fine just as before. Some of them work where i go straight down to the hew post and some start at the beginning one. Weird huh?

I still aint sure what you mean, I have now noticed when I click on an email notification link only the post that is replying to me is in view and the default is threaded.... I don't like the threaded view so click straight on the links above and go to the main board to refresh it to enable flat mode then scroll through the new posts.... does that make sense?

Yes like you Tony i don't like the theaded mode, But when there is a new reply, instead of going to that 'new' reply i get sent to the top of the thread and have to go through all replys to get to the 'new' one.

I think I kow what you mean Paul.... the only way round that is to go to flat mode and the last posted post will be the bottom one, failing that do you get the ip address time and date at the side of the post? maybe thats just a moderators privledge?????

What Picture? I aint got none as I always fish alone normally and am crap with a camera....... I got the chub one but look like an eskino in that.... I have one with my 14lb trout somewhere but that aint coarse fishing is it.....

You only fish alone is that because no one likes you.

I to am experiencing this but not on all new messages, sometimes it works fine , other times I have to scroll through?

Right, let me try and get my head around this lot /images/forum/icons/smile.gif

If I'm correct, your are taken to the new messages if there is no more than one page, but not when there are two or more... to get around this problem edit your profile to view more than however many messages per page are showing at the moment.

Ian - what have you changed ?

Light has dawned. Now I can see. As has been mentioned above, if you adjust your profile settings accordingly everybodys mugshot appears with their post... hallellulah!

Yes this gets around the prob, but can't the prob be sorted out.
Some of the threads as you know are massive, and takes time to load up, im impatient and i can't wait for screens to load.

There's absolutely nothing I can do to increase your dial-up speed mate... ask the boss to get a faster line installed - that's were your problem lies, it's nothing to do with the website or programs behind it !!
