most deffiantly, tis so much quicker. The cheapest they do is up to 10 times faster than normal dail up speed (56k). This is £30 per month (no other call charges). They also do other packages that are even faster, lots of money though.

Do check that it is in your area, and that they can hook u up. As they are not in all areas yet.

Cable is as good or maybe better than ADSL. I have Telewest Blue Yonder and download at 60 - 70kbs every thime. Continuous connection and all for £25 per month

iam on ntl boadband @ £15 per month and a phone line
download speeds from 60k per sec to over 100k per sec on a good site
