Hi Iain,

I'd say a roving appraoch was best. As Paulm said in your other post, if you don;t get a bite withing the first few casts, move on to the next swim. There is plenty of water to cover at FG, and the chub are there.

Baits - Bread, Cheese, Cheesepaste.
Swims - Look for creases, or snaggy swims.

If your lucky enough to win the competition in Anglers Mail, there is a junior fish-in held every year at Fishers Green.

As you hold an RMC Angling permit for Fishers Green, are you on the juniors board yet ? You can then chat to people of the same age and see what they are up to...

Bill.

There are chub in most swims, at the green unless the water is real high they don't normally shoal up..... try as many swims as you can... 10 minutes in each. If you get a bite from a swim but no fish rest it, bait it up and return there an hour or so later.

Watch out though Iain, you might get a bigger tug than you expect! Most of the obvious swims are inhabited by barbel just as much as chub.

Most of the swims I fish up there are uninhabited.

Morning Clive
Fished the Green yesterday.Fished from the top boundary down to the Bittern hide and only had one bite,as i said most of the swims i fished were uninhabited.
There has been so nice fish out though, three double figure barbel in two days.
Never mind carp fishing again next week.Proper fishing.

You told me it was breadflake! I knew it was something special when no-one else was catching. Bead flake ??? Were you knocking them out with it? It was big enough!
