Ian, i recently received my reapplication to the North and Car Park syndicate, but then heard only the next day that a mate who was 23 on the waiting list also got one through aswell. Now correct me if i'm wrong but if you check a post I put in this section called 'Ball rolling', you said that the numbers were going to be staying the same on the syndicate, and in you own words said 'if it ain't broke then don't fix it!'.
Now I understand that not everyone will be rejoining, but what if more than you expect actually do. The Car Park lake and the North Lake, although not rammed all the time, had a good amount of anglers so that things were comfortable, and any more people on either of the lakes than the 50 that the syndicate is meant to be, would definitely be a crowd. So what's going on?!
Myself, aswell as other members are prepared to pay the money for a complex without a particularly good toilet and no running water, solely due to the fish and the history of the place. And we don't mind because we all love it, just don't change the amount of anglers on the venue, and turn it into a far too busy complex.
If the numbers are increased to say 75, then you will just hear next season that things are getting silly, you'll get arguments between anglers, no free swims for weekend anglers, people will moan etc. etc.. So the year after you will probably have to cut the numbers, and no doubt to make up the money you will loose, you'll be compelled by the powers above you to stick the price up?!
Can you just clear this one up for us all Ian, and let us know what you've got planned?

Sorry Ian, have just noticed your reply to Odds message in another post!! Although I am no one to say this, I do think you will be surprised how many people on the waiting list will accept. Also, as the deadline for applications is in April (if I remember rightly?) does this not give you enough time to then find out how many anglers are renewing, and then send out applications to people on the waiting list?
Anyway, I will check the other posts next time before I start going off on one!!
