One of my mates has been out of carp fishing for about 3 years now (the missus dissapproved)!! So i've finally been able to twist his arm to start up again, and in a few weeks time have decided to go and do a few midweek nights on the day ticket south lake. Just wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers on where to start so I can get his baitrunners screaming again!!

Cheers

If you search the archives there is a feast of info on the south lake mate..... just do a search on the day ticket board remembering to include all posts.

through the day the snags swim is good, makesure you screw up tight!!!
the point swim netted me 5 fish in a night last trip, fishing to the close in trees behind the willow.
also give matts corner a try, cast to left about 10 foot infront of gap in margin bushes there's a bar there.
if fishing from the boss swim to the right island drop short by about 8 foot, there is a gully that runs round the island!
