The marketing team at Gardener sat around the table, scratching their heads. So far, sales of their new inflatable bivvy buddy were really strong, but the only people buying them were ladies and members of the gay fraternity. None had been sold to a bloke carp angler.
Adam : "So Ben, why do you think our new inflatable bivvy buddy is so popular with girls and gays, but not with our target audience?"
Ben : "I don't know fella. No idea. Let me phone the wife and ask her. Maybe she can give us a girl's perspective on this"
(Ben phones his wife)
Ben : "Hello dear, it's hubby".
Ben's wife : "Hi honey".
Ben : "You know the new bivvy buddy I brought home last week?"
Ben's wife : "Ummm, yeah"
Ben : "Well, we're trying to work out why it's only selling to girls and gays, and not genuine carpy boys"
(Ben wife giggles, in a shy, girlie kinda way)
Ben : "What's funny honey? Why are you giggling like a school girl?"
Ben's wife : "Well, think about it dear. The only way to inflate him is to blow him up through the nozzle"
Ben : "Yeah. So. What's funny about that?"
Ben's wife : " Well, let's just say that me and the other girls are having great fun blowing him up"
(Ben's wife is now rolling around, laughing)
Ben : "Honey, you're not making sense. What are you on about?"
Ben's wife : "Dear, do you actually know where the design team chose to put the nozzle?"
Ben : "Errrrrm. No."
Ben's wife (now crying with laughter) : "Undo his zipper sweetheart. The nozzle pops up and all you have to do is blow, real hard, for about 10 minutes. That's why he's constantly smiling!"
honest mate, i was only cleaning my barrow bag, when this odd looking little fella popped out and offered me three wishes.
The Gardner Carry All doubled up as a cricket bag, you can even fit the stumps in there!

The Gardner Christmas panto wasn't such a hit with: 'The Carp, the Genie and the Barrow bag....
