Firstly the 3 piece Harrison 11/2lbtc Triptych Barbel rods, these fit in the boot of the car giving no hint of fishing tackle to the thieves around our car parks.
Secondly I wanted a small baitrunner type reel too match to my Avon rods, the new ABU reels are beautiful but out of my price range.
The Quantum BCS 330 met all my requirements, small and light with a good front clutch and the baitrunner lever in the right place.
This autumn I have used them for all my Barbel fishing without any problems.
