Tails up Fruitmino, they are pretty hard to get hold of though.
Why not try another type of mix in the warmer months like a fishmeal?

I agree with Solar's quench and esterblend 12.
Solar's Black&Blue with esterblend 12 is rather good too.
This can be bought as a 'pot-shot' so makes things simple if knocking them up yourself.

Hey yappi how do you know about those?!!!!
It's not that they are secret or anything it's a long story but Danny at Specialist tackle in Romford sells them and he's the only one. Otherwise you have to buy them from us.

Hi Jim, I found out about them because I field test now at walthamstow for you, I get my bait off of Simon at the office and he told me about them and showed me them at sandown Im not actually using them though, Im using pro liver.
Why don't you supply them to any other shops Ive heard great things about them?

Jim they have been in the magazines as well.
when it comes to a fruity flavor I go with ASAP I'm not sure if it is actully a fruit flavor but it smells sweet and it does the job.
Alex.

It has got to be Mainline Fruitella 50-50 or the High Leakage Pineapple. These are wicked baits. Or there are Richworth Tutti-fruitti these are a pukka single hookbait in the winter

Everyone seems to overlook mistral baits exelent isotonic range and the rosehip are still going strong for an instant and long term readymade.

Hi there Yappi. Sorry this bloody silly name thing drives me mad. I think I know who you are but I'm not positive.
Other shops are welcome to have Fruitmino but they are not on our trade list so no one knows about them. It's a "thing" that's been going on for years with just a few lads having the bait. It never really was my sort of thing but the short version of the story is that a few small teams all scored heavily just before Christmas in your area and it went off as a result. The bait is actually Protavit based so I've always had every confidence in it. Anyone who wants it is welcome. It's just that we don't push it so the lads who've been using it for years have a bit of a free hand.
In general terms, I think there are quite a few fruity baits out there that are worth trying but the Fruit area is generally in my mind where the short cuts have been traditionally taken. Many were drastically overflavoured. Too much chemical input for my liking. I'm sure some contained and still do, far too much "fill" ie semolina etc and not enough food protein. This causes a problem when the fish become preoccupied with the sweetness of those type of baits. I'm sure fish can suffer as a result. Too much sugar is surely not a good thing. Perhaps Mr Welch can add something here regards dietry requirement etc. I'm sure he wants to keep his pets in tip top nick!
So if you're picking a fruity bait think about it carefully, pick one you think offers something in the way of nutrition as well as sweetener and apply it with care!
Best of luck

Personally I prefer a mix, so I lurve the Caviar and Cranberry ones where you get the best of both worlds and by gum they dont half work too.

jim,

forgive me if i am speaking out of line, but on a recent trip to france i encountered richworth peppered mackerel boilies. these seem similar to your own pro-shellfish boilies i have had.

is there a similar ingredient?

I guess anything is possible when it comes to bait. That's why we guard our bait secrets so tightly. You also have to remember that flavour companies can copy most things these days and sometimes it's difficult to tell things apart. I remember when I put Protavit Parmesan together. We made it with real Parmesan cheese of course but within a few months there were a host of copies all with chemical cheese smells and not the real thing. I can assure you though that the two baits you mention are definately not the same.
