Daft question, but you know the plastic tubes that rods get shipped in - does anyone out there have a good supplier for them?

I'm not going to be putting rods in them, so not an iminent competitor for the trade!

I need it to pack pool cues in them, which are equally as fragile as rods and can be the same sort of money (up to £1000, but more usually around £150 each).

We have been using exactly the same tubes but supplier has disappeared and now have an urgent requirement - have stock literally in the office waiting to ship! http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif

as said above, why not use 40mm waste pipe with solvent weld stop ends.

Try doing a search for 'Tek-Neek' as they have various smaller diameter tubes ideal for snooker cues. They are quite expensive but are spot on.
