Has anyone had any problems with their nomad leaking? My nomad is only 6 weeks old. The problem seems to be with the stiching at the point where ribs fit into their pockets, and the storm sides begin. I purchased my one at the Tackle Box. And they have told not to worry. And that they will deal with it. Top shop, and first class after sales service

I hear loads of bad reports about the newer nash shelters - nearly bought myself one. Good job i didnt. As far as im concerned, u cant beat the JRC oval for the price.
I am afraid mate that this a problem with all nash bivvies,I had a titan which the seams failed on after only 5 months and then 2 spokes broke 3 months later.Ive also got 3 mates who have also had the same thing happen on their oval plus's to Threw my titan in the bin eventully and haven't bought anything nash since.

I've got a nash brolly that must be 10 years old, no sides, no leaks. Does Mr Nash now have his stuff made in the far east? If so he should charge far east prices, for far eastern quality.
That'll be £2.50 then http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Got a near 7 year old titan, 1 leg gave way, didn't mind replacing given the abuse it's had and the age, hasn't leaked, got myself a nomad this year which i use most of the time now, agreed it's not the thickest material, but as it's one of the cheaper ones on the market i'd expect that, i'd say reasonable cost/quality, i just couldn't justify doubling the price for a Big Z or similar. The choice was mine i guess, carp tech one for £80 looks ok.

My m8's got a carp tech. He's had no problems with it. I am going to change my nomad for one. I would agree that the older nash stuff seems to be better quality.

Nash = Trash is a common response upon this and many other forums.
I 've spent a few bob on their stuff over the years but always think twice now. http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Nash = trash well said that man, the amount of stuff that's gone wrong from him I could write a book. Final straw losing a mid-thirty at the net because of one of his leadcore limpets snapping.Never again!
