What's the best pva bags & string / tape on the market?
I've seen a lot of advertising for the new Fishrite pva bags with the pull string tops? Anyone on here tried them yet? How good are they? Once cast out, do they melt very quickly in this hot weather?
Gimmick! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
ive used quite a few of them in different sizes now and Ive got on with them very well. I find normal lick and stick bags a pain in the arris and I dont have a lot of confidence in them on bigger casts or when using liquids. The extra drawcord allows you to seal up the bags and know that you can give it a good whack.
Ive not had any problems with unmelted PVA using the drawcords.
As far as tape goes, I like Korda Spread Um.
I would definately say, the best PVA is EAP's Miracle MICROMESH. it comes in three sizes, has two different break down times, one very fast for feeding fish, the other average time for setting ur stuff up properly (mending line etc so hookbait stays where feed is). And is apparently the only true anti ladder u can buy......dont quote me, but i used a grater on it and it doesnt ladder.

No I don't think we should quote you on that, coz I know someone who has the true anti-ladder pva and who had it first! http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It's ok not laddering but if you wear it with a mini skirt in the rain, it goes sticky!

Always used temple products in the past, really nice bags with plenty of different variations, definately worth a go if you can find them.
