When you post a message click on the "mark up in your posts" link. A window will open showing you all the code you need to type in to get you smiles etc.

Paul to get an icon up, when you are posting a post there is a link that says <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/faq_english.pl?Cat=#html> markup in you posts</A>

You can click on the link in my post here and a window will open. Tis if the faq window. All is revealed in this window mate. If you have any more problems private me and I will give you my phone number and talk you through it over the phone.

HTML is off in all forums/boards. For your info, you can check if HTML/Markup us on by click the Forum INformation link on each board.

Any reason for turning HTML off, on all the boards? I know some people might abuse it, is this the reason??
Pehaps it can be turned on just for the 'Members' board

Your correct, we've disabled HTML throughout the site as we don't want people taking advatnage !

We may decide to turn it on at a later date on a per-board basis....

Is there any chance of turning HTML on for private msg's.
This way we can have some fun without people abusing the boards.

lofte HTML stands for hypertext markup language and its the coding which a lot of websites are written in /images/forum/icons/smile.gif/images/forum/icons/wink.gif
