alright lads, just an idea but wouldnt some info on how to add pics on your profiles in the FAQ section be handy, i have finally got mine sorted and it was a nightmare, just a thought!

Dan I can`t see your picture,as I can`t see my own.My profile is set to view pictures (I can see everyone else`s),the url downloads.Is my pcture visible people??

No it isn't it has a little red cross in the top left hand corner.

I think it means the link isn't correct. Maybe a wrong web address.

Haven`t changed the link/address since I`ve started using it,just tried another url from my profile and the same happened?!

lads, my picture works fine when i load it up from the file manager on the geocites web site but if it aint open (the pic) then it dont show up!!! not very good is it!! any ideas???

it looks like the owner(or hosting co.) will not allow anyone to use images from their websites!

Copyright and Bandwidth would be the only thing to consider (that I know) at this time.....

Try using an image of your own?

Ok - don't worry!

When I first tried to visit the URl of your image I got a permissions problem... donw to your hosting co.

The pic is far too big mate! Get this image from <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.kennetweb.co.uk/rmc/danmbk.jpg>here</A> and right click (if your on a PC) and 'save as'. Then upload it to your website (or webspace) and all should be OK.

Let me know of any problems.....

Must be the same prob. with the host I`ve tried different url`s and they seem to be OK.I do like my original animated "dragon" though!

A further question on photos etc...Can I scan a photo onto my free web space I have provided by my isp,then use the url to post it onto my profile?
