Private Messaging.

Can anyone help out here. I've been using the private messaging facility on this site for months now and all the messages i get are stored and i can click on them and read ones that were sent to me months ago. However i have sent almost as many as i have received but according to my profile i haven't sent any! This cant be right as i know people are getting my messages as they are replying? Am i doing something wrong?

In the control panel when you click on "send a private message" you have 3 boxes at the bottom, make sure the one named "I want to keep a copy of my message" is checked.....
