New Faces at The Green

Ian,
Last autumn I suggested to four of the match lads at my local tackle shop, they buy a winter ticket for the green.
Two of them have caught doubles and the other two managed their first Barbel ever yesterday.
They all intend to join next season along with some other from the shop.
This has to be good for the green to see lads from different parts of the sport trying specimen fishing.
What do you think.

Quite agree Bob and it would be interesting to see how their methods of feeding a swim in the summer produces.
It was a shame your mate put his 7lb 14oz back just before I got there with the camera.We could have had nice picture for him with his first Barbel.
Just hope some ones there when I get mine.

I'm not sure if I would be the one to ask about taking a photo, but if you need help then give me a ring.
And yes Ian these lads helped Garry and I a lot last year with ground bait, as did my carp mates with a good Barbel paste.
