Catch reports

Have you had any more thoughts about anglers being able to post their catches on the website?

I posted a message to the General Coarse Board on Sunday to see what has been caught recently and Ian is the only one to reply so far....

People can always send (email) photos and reports to the RMC Angling office, which I'm sure will go on the Catch Reports pages...

If people want to let others know what they are catching (without photo's) or give regular updates then why not use the Forum ? Create a Post under the Venues Forum and name it something along the lines of "Burghfield Catch Report - Date " or something ???

Hi Ian, surely its a chicken or egg situation?

I remember posting a message about linking catch reports to specific venues before the latest web incarnation was up and running. If one of us anglers wanted to fish Stansted abbots or Yateley for instance we could call up that venue and get (hopefully!) a few reports on how it was fishing... or do the guys out there look at the general reports from where ever then make a decision on where they fish?

we must have been lucky! before even casting a line at fishers green we were checked by three bailiffs! they don't mind a chat, either...
