Most of the thefts at Wraysbury 1 are quick snatches when you are out in the boat, there is a team of usualy 3 lads that opperate all the lakes in the area, they have done it for years, they are about 16 years age now,are very fast, they have bikes, and all the chat. They check cars and will smash the window without a second thought.Be on gard when there about, they are on borrowed time and have nearly bin caught several times. They are not about much but when the are there is usualy something going down. Dont be put off,you hardly every see anyone other than fellow anglers. Its just that the few insidents get high coverage.

Cheers Steve,i will bear that in mind!I think we have got the car parking prob solved,we got a friend that lives near by so i think the motor will
be left there. Are our thieving friends something to do with the gypo's?

you can't call 'em gypo's...!!!

i think we have to use the term inactively challenged...

hehehe...!

Last weekend when I was on Kingsmead we saw three young lads walking around. They were challenged by the shooters and said they were fishing (without any tackle)

They did a runner though when we tried to get after em. Oh Well!!

Thats them! I dont think they are gypo or traveller types, they live close to kingsmead or wraysbury villages i'm sure,They talk like most of the kids in the area, if its the ones I think it is. Aparently one is called Johnathon, and many kids in the area dont like him/them, they have bragged at school about all the rods the have got this summer.Soon they will be dealt with and we should return to the safer more relaxed area it used to be..

God.... Im beginning to sound like my dad!!! (sound of hand slapping forehead!)

yoda,
jon gave me some of his slides .its awesome ,might have to go back for this one as its the last one of the big 5 i want for the set.
its growing like an animal taking over from the king (MARY),which is good in some respects for the lake.

What a top fish Cluster is! I always thought it was awsome, but now the frame has thickened out she looks fantastic!

On her way to 50lb +. Long live Wraysbury and her monsters!

Well top Jon, top winter result!
