No not yet because it's a bit of a trek from Chelmsford.

First of all the 'Guide Book' states - "Shallow & Weedy". Weedy it normally is but there are very few shallow spots.
Average depth about 10ft. I fished it early this season (daylight) and had a few to 16+ .Tench used to be a problem,
but not so much recently. I was told that the smaller tench were going to be moved to lake 2 and the bigger carp from
there put in lake 1. Lake 2 is shallow & weedy (approx 5ft) - good float fishing.
I also heard that some of the carp transferred went 'belly-up' in the deeper lake (who knows).
